Voting matters, can’t be neutral on a moving train, local elections really matter, you can’t complain if you aren’t making the slightest effort in participating, I highly doubt you’re making an impact in any other way so you’re essentially dead weight, etc.

Our leadership will never get better, unless we vote. Basically, as long as there are things that you want to change in this country, its ass backwards to forfeit your vote.

So you think by sitting your on your bum ass that the world will eventually turn good? The only way you can make any sort of change (even if it's abysmal) is by actually taking action like voting for somebody that YOU believe follows some of your values and can benefit your community. What an embarrassing level of pessimism in this thread
Don't vote and expect anything to change in this country. Political apathy is a big reason why this country is in the state that it's in. America has the LOWEST voter turnout out of all developed countries. It's just sad.
IF shutting down prisons and creating health and educational programs isn't on the ballot...then fukk it. If retro-activating local Police weapons and supplies back to circa 1990's and getting rid of their military grade vehicles and weapons... not on the ballot then fukk it. If not administrating a drug program to help get the locals off the drugs....then fukk it. IF not supplying real time solutions to job creations in the area to focus on building the local economy...then fukk it.
