I once heard a civil rights activist say the problem with race relations and the totally shyt position Black Brazilians find themselves in is because they believed the white lie that Brazil is a mixed and equal society.

Brazil is the only country in the world with a Black population that never fought the white slavers and demanded complete freedom and just accepted it. Even the Black Argentines that experienced genocide were able to flee.
