@The Ruler 09 has a point in all honesty - vocal presence and linguistic capability counts for a lot when it comes to the overall product itself and at the very least from an aesthetic POV. MBDTF was an improvement on the hot mess that was Heartbreak & 808s, but I'm loathe to compare it to 2001 - that CD was almost classic. I like Kanye still, but I haven't felt his recent stuff much. From a production stand point, he's still got it - and as much as I disliked Yeezus, I give him credit for trying to do something different on that project. It was quite different. But I just feel he's lacking substance in his later work.

Kanye showed he was a artistic genius with that album. Dude is so deep i see its gone over way too many heads cause of the direction
Dres album is filled with bangers but kanyes albuk means more to me. It would take me parageaph afyer paragraph to describe the themes and lyrics that explored mixed with those haunting beats.
Love chronic albums but mbdtf is one of the few albums that was classic that i got yo experience as an adult during its drop. Was in my whip for a year breaking it down every night bfrom the adlibs tonthe hooks to the kyrixs to the themes of the songs. shyt was deep
