It's not a good look to be reclusive and not wanting to socialize with folks. I feel OP...sometimes we wanna be left alone but u shouldn't be like that all the time.
It’s so easy to get into that space of being a shyt in. Hard to get out of as well

Well then only socialize with the ones u like and in good standing withSo you have to fake socialize with people you don't really like![]()
I feel u on that....my job have a huge workload so I can relate. Well if that's the case...get ur work done. Most of us are bruhs on here and a black man HAS to have sufficient work preformance for job security. Getting ur work done comes first. It's not even that. There's just no time. I have the largest workload on my team. And going back to office with distractions will make my workload take even longer.
My face will clearly be annoyed with any unnecessary reactions
@jadillac First day, go to the breakroom and spill a little water on the floor. Stand right over it though so no one notices and kinda idle around until someone else comes in and is within range... Start to say "hello" and knock the LIVING shyt outta them. I don't care who it is and you need to put everything into to it so you slip.
Now: Your job is faced with the dilemma that you just 'assaulted' somebody-- but did you really???They were negligible and caused you harm, which caused somebody else harm.
From there on it's politicking and company culture to where you're specifically at, but the goal is to flip that from worker's comp, to WFH
You'll never see those b*stards again

Fortune 500 companies can be terrible to work for. Blue collar or white collar. Their attitude is exactly what you posted:"We're a fortune 500 company and can do whatever we want"
Nobody can say this stuff, but I will make it known non-verbally.![]()
