While the credulous lamestream media is reporting on Minaj's pronouncement as the truth, we're more skeptical. So we've put the Gawker Fact-Checking Team (me) on the case and fact-checked her Romney endorsement — as well as the rest of her verse on the song:

Fact check: Mostly false. A search of voter rolls in California and New York, where Minaj maintains homes, comes up empty; which means that not only is Minaj not a registered Republican voting for Mitt Romney, she's not voting at all unless she registers soon. (It's also unclear whether or not Minaj, who was born in Trinidad and Tobago, is an American citizen.)

She's bout to be making American Idol money, she doesn't give a fukk about the middle class

Funny thing is she actualy stands to loose the most by a mitt Romney election. First off her main supporters are poor and middle class so if they have no money to buy albums or attend her shows then she makes less money. And Romney's polocies only help the top 1% and people that earn money through investments, and inheritances. Nicki is no where near the top 1% and she still makes her money from a paychecks meaning her taxes would probably go up too.
