my brain is real compartmentalized. This is my only source of debt. I'd feel more confident to make other investments if all this was erased now.

Taking on more debt through a home loan or business loan makes me seasick with this still being over my head

I had the opposite mentality yearsss ago and regretted it. Had a $20k debt and shoulda paid it off at the time and they say invest it blah blah.......then life comes in the way and your like :francis::francis::francis::francis:

you will ALWAYS be able to get money, if you don't look at it as a scarce resource. Debt = Slavery :yeshrug:

I wouldn’t pay all of it @ once...nor should you just pay the minimum...it just doesn’t seem prudent to dead all your savings like that...if $20k is what you owe pay like $1000-1500/mo. and keep shyt in the bank for a real emergency if needed god forbid...you’ll be out of debt in a year/year and a half
