Nah, your parents should always back you first.

I’ve only ever had one woman in my life that I was serious enough about, to introduce to my parents. I was serious about marrying her. My mom was really upset that we broke up because they became close.

Once we broke up, she deleted her number and never spoke to her again. My mom puts blood before anything because she respects me. Anyone who says otherwise ain’t shyt.

Blood >>>> water.:yeshrug:

My girlfriend mom and dad both were still friends with her ex. I had to go over there and straighten their ass out!
Just your GF? Of how long? What you tell them? Did they take you serious or laugh?

Moms still got a couple pics of us 3 at her crib :stopitslime:

Think she still think shyt gonna work out:francis:

She too damn friendly with women I deal with in general. Had girls introduce themselves to her against my will and she chatting it up. Had a chick literally steal her number out my phone in HS and text her, and they cool to this day :deadmanny:

I had to fire my ex last year because she lied about some shyt but my mother still talks to her and it’s starting to piss me off. Have any of you dealt with this type of situation without there being any children involved?
ahahaha. this is my mom. my ex from HS used to come over and visit her up until i was about 25, then she's still friends with my brother's exes, like they call her to just talk, one has an ex (i guess they're back together) with a daughter, so of course she got attached to the girl, she's arranged events for all of us (my mom, me, the ex and her daughter) to go to.

i mean, that's the hard part about bringing people into your family's lives, they form bonds as well. as long as your mom isn't giving information about you or trying to get yall back together, just let it go. how long was she your girl and how long has she been your ex? maybe their relationship will die out organically as time moves on

Yeah, 3 years on and off.

I went over there and straight up told them I refused to be around them or their daughter if they continued to disrespect our relationship. The last straw was one day we pulled up and buddy was in the house. My girl was on some she can't do anything about it, but she told them she didn't approve of it.

I had to let both of them know that we, especially I, wasn't going to be in any uncomfortable situation.

Said my peace and walked out.

I’m not going to let it go, next week I’m telling my mother to cut her off or else. We broke up July-ish and we were officially together for around a year but we had a situationship before that so around 2 years and some change all together.

Have you or any of your siblings taken issue with your mother doing this?

my oldest bro does, but he's a diva. at the same time, my mom keeps separate the relationships we had with our exes and her relationship with them - like she's not trying to discuss the issues we had, what went wrong, etc, she simply talks to them about whatever is going on in their lives. i get you wanting her to cut it off, but if she doesn't at least talk with your mom to understand what they're talking about, what your ex is asking, etc.
