One of the reasons video essays have fallen off on YouTube is because these nikkas grow addicted to the sound of their own voice and the essays get longer and longer. Nikkas only have but so much time in the day. 4 hours of anything is ridiculous

If you point this out however, you get accused of having a short attention span

This video is at 233,000 views in 9 hours but you're acting like the run time is scaring people away

Most of the videos on his main channel are long and go from 1-2 hours. He'll most likely go back to that and this one is an anomaly.

Video essays might be falling off but his channel is growing. He's over a million subscribers.
