Stop drinking and get new friends. It sucks, but you can't hang around the same folks you drink with when you are sober.

I quit drinking over a year ago (along with smoking). I don't regret that decision at all. Drinking is fukking stupid (it hurts your body and your wallet)

I'll tell you given I was similar with it, you gotta become a hermit breh. For a good couple weeks just focus on training, mind, body and soul. Workout, read, write, watch shows you haven't yet but been meaning to.

One day at a time, then the high of being sober becomes more addicting to you. And the longer you go the stronger you can feel because you won't want to break the streak, Like the Heat last year.

hit an AA meeting man. I was in a real fukking bad spot for years and finally got sick of that bullshyt and got some help. Been sober for just over 15 months now...got a nice apartment, brand new car, working my dream job. Not saying thats typical of going to AA and getting sober, I'm actually real lucky but things will get better for you than they are now thats for damn sure
Don't worry about all that god talk at meetings if you aren't religious. Take what you need and leave the rest
