gtfo with using a wikipedia article as the basis for your argument. If you knew anything about AA, which you clearly don't, you'd know that they try and help people change the behaviors which led to them drinking as a means to cope with life. Their whole thing is that the disease of alcoholism (not even gonna get into the idea of alcoholism as a disease) is due to a problem with the way a person thinks and that drinking is just a symptom of the disease. It's not even a religious program, it's touted as a spiritual program. Sure there are people who talk about god at meetings but the program itself has no affiliation with any religion. You're just coming in here talking shyt about something you only know about through hearsay and fukking wikipedia articles, I'm just trying to help this dude get his life back on track. you ever see somebody that is clearly misinformed and everybody in the room know's he's wrong except for him? Idk if you feel threatened by people who try and improve their life, or if somebody you know got sober in AA and then just shyt on your life with their achievements or what homie but you need to fall back. Go peruse wikipedia some more or some shyt
As for the dude who's trying to solve the problems in their life- don't let one clown motherfukker on the internet scare you away from getting sober in AA. I've found most of the people who talk shyt about it are the ones who know absolutely nothing about it

But its not scary yet though.
This stagnation is wearing on me... Thats why I drink. Ive tripped on Robotussin twice in the last month. Once for the fukk of it... another time it was with a close friend of mine, but still I just wanted the boredom to subside.
Maybe its the long winter... Maybe I dont have the motivation.... I might not have it in me. But something needs to change in teh next few weeks.
But its not scary yet though.

But seriously breh you may need to consult a professional. I've had a couple family members who were addicted and my fam comes from a culture where drinking is taboo and avoided due to culture and religious purposes. They had to get help but most importantly they shifted their social circles and hung around folk who don't drink and got into other things.

I seriously have to stop drinking I tried to fight someone last night and I can't even remember. I've had way too many black outs to the point it's normal to me. I really wanna stop this abuse because I don't want it to have control over me.
The first step is to forgive yourself.
