LOL @ everyone suggesting AA

It's pretty much just a christian cult

Just stop drinking you fukking p*ssy

Addiction isn't a real thing

People who get "addicted" are weak minded and weak willed @ssholes
Youre either trolling, or have no idea wtf youre speaking on. Ever hear of withdrawals? Once your body becomes chemically dependant on some shyt, it will literally start fukking up once you go without it over time. Some withdrawals like alcohol, can kill your ass....thats why its almost impossible to quit cold turkey once youre too far gone without medical supervision...

When I made this thread so the 2nd of march to the 18th and I'm not drinking heavy anymore which is the good thing.

Depends on your definition of heavy and how honest you're being (with yourself)

If you WERE a heavy drinker and now you claim not to be that could mean "well before I was drinking a gallon of vodka a day and now I'm good bcuz I'm only hitting half gallon per day"

But yeah you have to find another addiction to replace the alcohol. I work 70+ hours every week to stay away from sitting at home contemplating go to the store for beer. People at work think I'm just a hard worker( which I am) but I'm always at work running from something.

Beer was thing drinking like anywhere from 14-18 a day. I'm not even drinking everyday now and when I do it's 3-4 beers.

I see I still have my moments on the weekend when I drink too many, but still use my Sunday off to sleep the shyt off. eat, take vitamins and talk to myself in my head and think (breh, you gotta keep getting this money and live a good life.) When you start drinking too much it clouds your thoughts from doing things that are more important then getting wasted.

You'll be right back to 14-18 before you know it. That's how this disease works. It's never gonna give up on trying destroy you. The worst mistake you can make is thinking "I have it under control". That's what it wants you to think, because if you're a true alcoholic the ONLY option is to kill it...this "I'm better now, I cut down on it" makes the disease laugh because its sayin "you think you winnin huh :mjlol:..I ain worried:jawalrus: keep baby-sippin. Ill have you trickin off money, actin a fool and laid out in a puddle of your own vomit/piss in no time:win:"

But for real OP. I've looked all this alcoholism thing up. When you start going through alcohol withdrawals at 27. There is no coming back but to go to a doctor and see what he can do for you. It only gets worse and eventually you quit and come back to life or you keep going and die no other option. withdrawals get worse as you go because you tolerance gets higher ect.

:to: I read a statement of a alcoholic who committed suicide. Know what he said before he killed himself.

"I'd rather shoot myself now then to go back to drinking" BOOM

I believe it.

You hit bottom right...then get sober , life's going good, you get big-headed, decide you can handle a few drinks here and there...next thing ya know your full blown again and you reach a deeper bottom that's 10 times worst than the last one...and this becomes an on going cycle in your life. Each time you start drinking again shyt winds up happening 10 times as bad as the last time so for the people who are tired of destroying their lives (and the people around them) and refuse to do everything it takes to quit they say "fukk it" BOOM

Yup. Hurting yourself is one thing but to wake up and hurt yourself and other people along with it is the worse feeling in my book. Told my ex when I let her go. " I can't love you when I don't even love my own self"

well, i had this wrote until i realized you had your habit under control:
"alcohol is something that will get the best of you and it seems like it comes out of nowhere. i went through it and it's hell. don't try and stop randomly. cause it's not going to work. cut your drinking down little by little. scientists have already said it's the worst and most dangerous withdrawl to go through."
good luck man. it's a very tough thing to deal with.
