well, i had this wrote until i realized you had your habit under control:
"alcohol is something that will get the best of you and it seems like it comes out of nowhere. i went through it and it's hell. don't try and stop randomly. cause it's not going to work. cut your drinking down little by little. scientists have already said it's the worst and most dangerous withdrawl to go through."
good luck man. it's a very tough thing to deal with.

When I was in my early 20's I laid in bed going through withdrawals after a 2 week bender, literally thought I was going to die. Didn't go to the hospital because just wanted it to stop so I could drink again. Ask some ER doctors how many lives they save that come in with alcohol withdrawals near death.

Mfers don't think about how serious the shyt is setting fukked up every day on alcohol. You realize you can't just stop because your body and mind won't let you do it own your own so you go to the hospital or you get so sick off alcohol you go to the hospital. The hospital staff HAS TO strap you down to the bed while treating you...

...yes mfer...it's that serious.

When you have beers with friends Senior year in high school on a Friday night after a Football game. Or partying with some young breezies in college taking shots. You never think to yourself you will wake up everyday at 27 thinking you want to go to the store and have a couple beers before facing your full work load at work and fighting it off all the way to work. shyts cray brehs

yeah anyone who has gone through it will tell you it's no joke. it can also cause so many more diseases than just actually killing you. i went to the er and the male nurse told me i was too young to be going through withdrawl's:mjlol: come to find out they checked my heart w/ what i guess was an ekg machine and found that something was wrong. a week or two later they checked it with something like an ultrasound and thankfully came back fine. if it wasn't for the internet i wouldn't of known what was going on. i didn't realize how bad my drinking had actually gotten.

Yup. I had hangover for years 18-20ish. Then one day I started feeling weird as fukk. not hungover just weird, with the cold sweats, slight shakes, wanting to throw up out of nowhere. depressed feeling. Looked all the shyt up online and found out it was Alcohol withdrawals.

In the UK the whole culture revoloves around working mon-fri.

Friday night = pub, club or party.
Sat = pub, club or party.

Now this starts at like age 14 for most. Literally every weekend for the rest of youre life you will be drinking alcohol. This isnt some minority of people that are doing this either. Its. early everyone lmao. Alcohol is culturally huge over here. Much more so than the US I think. Its legal to buy at 18 and its legal to drink from 16 as long as you have "adult supervision".

And people dont end up alcoholics going through withdrawls over here by age 27.

when it comes to addiction and recovery there is only one solution in my opinion and thats rehab. If it gets to the point where you realize that you have a problem thats a good thing, but the only way rehab will work is if you want it to and are ready for it to work. trying to do it on your own can actually be dangerous because sometimes withdrawl symptoms can be so bad they can become deadly. But if you volunterily realize you have a problem and actually want to do something about it you have a leg up on a whole lot of addicts
