I'm being DEAD serious: Trent Richardson has never made an explosive play in game or practice

.... as a Brown.

I'm talking in 18 months since he's been drafted, he's never broke a run or catch longer than 32 yards (which was blocked extremely well).
Even in practice he gets bottled up.... EVERYDAY.

Show me a report, tweet, YouTube
where this guy has EVER looked like a top 3 pick in a NFL Draft.

:wow: this is what hating has come to?

Dudes talkin about practice......practice? Practice? :aicmon:

How do you know what Richardson does in practice everyday? He could take 100 snaps/carries a day and you won't see ANY of them....and your only reliance if somebody else tweets about it or puts it on YouTube? :heh: Are you in the media and at Browns camp everyday?

What you're saying is, "This guy sucks, but I have no proof that does"

The stoop with dat dope fanny padding
i knew someone was gonna bring up minnesota, but ponder >>> weeden statistically last year. AP opened up ponder's game, and ponder made just enough plays for them to score

:ehh: either way, i don't really recall anyone comparing trent to AP but it might have happened in this era of hyperbole

the point is there are plenty of running backs who have put up elite numbers regardless of their quarterback

I don't hate Richardson or even think he's terrible, but have a hard time understanding how he's a top 8 running back in fantasy football this year

no way he's top 10-12 even, he finished 18th in rushing and near the league bottom for 20+ runs. he's only good for getting in the endzone, and that's only if the browns can get down the field or generate enough turnovers to stay in the red zone

with that said, i was just saying its hard to give a rookie shyt for what happened in cleveland last year. i think he will almost certainly have a better year, dunno if he's remotely worth it in fantasy

:heh: Swear I was just thinkin about how bummy dude is when I saw him on NFL Net.

He's so overrated. And he's always hurt. He has zero explosion and zero elusiveness. N1gga is a glorified fullback.

How I get killed in this thread. lol

Dude posted a nine yard run as proof he's explosive :laff:
so what is your comment on him being named a top 100 player in the league

he was voted #71 by the players themselves

Mike Mayock:

Richardson might be the best non-quarterback in the draft. He won't make it past 6. He's as close as I've seen to Adrian Peterson. He's a three-down guy. He pass-protects. He's a bear with the ball in his hands and he's an adequate pass-catcher.

LMAO @ best non QB :laff:

I don't know if it's explosive or not, but I saw an explosion here.

damn but kurts a G for that

1. he came up to play the run off a draw
2. he took on contact from a blocker and moved him out the way
3. he broke down perfectly and didn't puss away from making a tackle

I'd show this to every defensive back again and again and again. This play right here is what you can't be scared of when playing football.

Alabama players are normally way over valued going into the draft. Richardson is just the latest example. Other than Julio Jones, Bama players have disappointed recently when they get to the league.
