I make too much to leave

I hate my job now.. mainly because of the people. My position is just below having the power to make significant changes. I'm next in line to get promoted, but that might be another year from now at a minimum..

The problem is I have a midlevel management position that puts me in the 24% tax bracket.... and I don't have a college degree.

Which means leaving and landing a equal paying salary is on some ethan hunt mission impossible shyt.

And even though I don't look it, being 41 doesn't help either.

My best bet at this point is to start trying to generate some passive income and flip that into a business.

I've been contemplating taking out a equity loan on my condo, but real estate in north jersey is .

If I don't find an exit plan in the next 2 to 3 years, there might be a coli thread created about me john rambo at my job

15 years ago I was homeless (long story) working as a dishwasher in VA making $5.15 an hour creating a passive income consisted of me scamming people off ebay when it was the wild wild west. But I got caught up and had to flee a certain state which I won't mention.

In the next 2 years the company I work for will be laying off a lot of people because of technology. My position will probably be safe and I might even get a raise but fukk.


I could've tried to transfer to Charlotte and Dallas as positions opened up over the past several months. But I just don't have the desire anymore.

I don't supervise shyt no more Upper Management is ass cheeks and they keep hiring shytty workers and expect me to make sure they don't fukk up. I got passed over for an upper management spot last year because I didn't have a degree, even though I'm in school right now and had 80 credits at the time. The CAC didn't even let me interview even though I held the job down for 3 fukking months with no trainning. It's hard to come to work when you know more then the CAC's above you..

And don't get me started on the pay. Luckily i have 2 other revenue streams because if I had to depend on this job alone i would be I'm out of this bytch by March at the latest. I have these fakkits 1.4 years of my time. No more. Never hated a place as much as this.

That's wild, because you posted this less than a year ago.

I already knew this but I decided to do a little experiment. Over the past month I’ve lost 19 lbs. basically by fasting once a week and cutting out processed foods 6 days a week. After the first 2 weeks I went back to eating regular “comfort” (McDonald’s) and was sick for a whole day. A few things I learned

1. We eat too much. So I only ate when I started to feel weak. I used food as a fuel source.

2. By not eating processed foods, I rarely felt hungry, even when I felt week. And when I did eat it didn’t take much to give my energy or subside the hunger.

3. After fasting for a day, I burned more calories when I ate the next day.

4. I saved a lot of money by not eating out or ordering through doordash/Uber eats

I mainly eat steak, fried or baked chicken, a lot of salad, about 2 dozen eggs per week, tuna and a gallon of water per day.


Always have energy and feel more alive. I have one cheat day and I only eat ice cream.


Oh, and I drink whisky damn near every day since it doesn’t have any carbs
