If you're not opposed to hearing some different accents I'll throw you some Aussie stuff after work.

You can always dig into old rare Rap A Lot albums or try a region you've never really fukked with before. Bay Area has a lot of dope music even if is just a guy who dropped one little EP on cassette 20 years ago

QuEst is a dope emcee out of Miami. His latest mixtape "Searching for Sylvan" is great.

The Niceguys are a rap group from Houston. There are comprised of one emcee and three producers. If you like Bars and soul sample beats you'll like them. Their album "The Show" is super dope.

Add-2 is an artist from Chicago. He is signed to 9th Wonder's Jamla Records. His new album "Prey for the Poor" is dope.

Gibbs.

Fred.

i got into his music when he 1st came out and i saw him on an episode of all things on carson daly's late night show. i remember me and my brother both thought he was a really nice mc. this was a few years ago too. i never did follow up on any of his music like talkin' bout for whatever reason. but i see nothin' but great things posted about him on here. so i'll definitely get back to checkin' out his music

if you love that Mobb Deep piano grimey shyt, you should like this

introspective, usually laid back type shyt, dope beats

next gen of aboriginal artists, produces, sings, spits

the Aussie Alkaholiks lol

in general a lot of the good Aussie Hip Hop falls into 2 categories, 1. boom bap type beats, samples, very east coast sounding type shyt usually with criminal or introspective lyrics, DJ's cuttin the fukk outta some shyt on the hook, or 2. a bit more of a pop sensibility, beats are still dope but not grimey shyt, more melodic, more singing in the hooks whether it's the artist themselves or an rnb chick. obviously there's more to it than that but in broad strokes that's what you can expect from Aussie Hip Hop. Adelaide MC's seem to have an accent i don't really feel, starting with Hilltop Hoods they stresed the accent a bit too much IMO i guess that's how they talk down there.
