Honestly...fukk Larry Bird. Larry Bird was a VERY good player who benefited from playing with Robert Parish, Kevin Mchale, and Dennis Johnson throughout his tenure. Who the hell is Larry Bird to speak to anyone about taking paycuts to get the ring? The Ring IS career defining achievement, to be a champion. Players like Ray Allen have given thier all in pursuit of that goal, the man played with severely painful bone spurs in foot in an effort to help his team in that pursuit. He has the RIGHT to choose the best opportunity for him to win a championship...

Im all for winning with a team you built but Lebytch went to an already established team. He had a team built for him but quit on them to ride someone else coattails. True he ended up leading them but that wasn't what he had in mind when he made that decision so he still gets no props from me
