But you've even seen mans in the summer over the years bust out the Kobe or Iverson jersey so you know of the cultural impact even without following the sport.

it's fairly popular down here but has died down over the last 15-20 years, it's peak popularity in Oz was late 90s/early 2000s with Jordan, the Kobe era and And1 Tapes. but i still see NBA results on the news most nights, especially if an Aussie is involved in the team.

Well, he shot 22 for 50, if you do the math that's 44%, which is exactly his field goal % for his entire career, so your smiley seems a bit much.

And, the Rockets vs Kings game started at 8:00, the Lakers vs Jazz game started at 1030, Jazz were leading damn near the whole game by double digits until there was 3:00 left in the 4th, so they knew the Rockets won hours before that double digit lead evaporated, so no. They lost cause Kobe went crazy in the fourth and had like 13 straight points. Good try tho kid.

Sidenote: I'm not even a Kobe fan, but truth is truth
