I'm calling BS on all this complaining/criticizing next gen launch games and window.T

The highest selling games year in and year out are the yearly multi plat iterations (madden, COD, Battlefield, 2k).

These games are on the X1 and PS4. Not only are the games the highest sellers but they are the most played all year per online stats.


Next, and most important. How many damn games do you realistically need at one time (and I'm using time here as a relative time)?

I just don't understand the "no games" arguments by the people bashing next gen because most people only play a couple of games seriously at one time anyway.

No one actually playing the system is tired of these games before the next batch of games comes out.

People are acting like this is there 1st launch.

you're right, sony has 2 retail exclusives (kz, knack), but xbox1 only has 3 retail exclusives (forza, dr3, ryse)....if you wanna count ki, sony can count resogun and/or playroom...either way, each system only has about 3-4 right now, so that goes along with what i said as well...as for the reviews, what does that have to do with the number of games available? nothing...your inclusion of them is just another example of what i said the fanbases do to each other...

I see the point they're making but at the same time they talk as if buying the console day 1 all of a sudden causes time to stop. The console will have games coming out for it for years so why wait?? A few versions of the games that launched with the PS4/xbox one are irrefutably better than their last gen counterparts and a game like 2k14 has assets in the game that aren't featured elsewhere. If you have a gaming PC that's more powerful than both next gen consoles then I see the reason for not going out to cop em but hey that's just their opinion. I have a gaming pc and I still copped a PS4 because...because.
