I'm convinced women have the potential to be funnier than men if they put effort into learninthe art

I know there's a general consensus amongst thecoli that women ain't funny but growing up, I've known plenty of women who suffered low self esteem as youngins who mastered the art of humour to fit in. Plenty of fatties I know are funny too. The average women generally gets accepted easily in social groups that they don't feel the need to develop that quick spit game/humour which is why they're humour skills are stunted whilst men are socialised to be competitive at being funniest in the crowd. Even then, I know attractive women who are funny but not as many as the the fat/unattractive humourous types. Women have the potential to be funnier than men, but because they're socialised to not be funny like men, most don't reach their potential.

I've seen several female stand up comedians that have made me laugh out loud the way a male comedian would!!!! Fact is, most PEOPLE aren't funny; male or female. But, yes, women do have to ability to be funny too!!! Also, there are a number of black female comedians that get overlooked as well who crack me up!!!

Nah I disagree. When a woman is funny it comes to her naturally and depends on her upbringing. I've only met a few (very few) women in my life who are funny.

Nope.....Again...I've only met a few women in my life that are actually funny. I don't mean tell a joke once in a while funny I mean they always have me cracking up. A lot of women are not funny.

Way more than the women I know. Most of the women I come across are of different backgrounds. Most are not funny, and when they try to be funny it fails. Funny to me is you can look at some carrots and make a joke out of them that will have me on the floor laughing. Funny to me is that you also have great comebacks at a person that is trying to get slick with you verbally. Profanity is ok, but when you ALWAYS have to rely on profanity you're not funny. Funny is not obnoxiously loud and making whack jokes. That is what I see women do. Yes I see men do that that, but I see a lot of women do it when they are trying to be funny. I don't meet a lot of funny women. When it comes to funny women I've met more funny black women then any other race. White women are the least funny. I have yet to meet a white woman that is actually funny.

Sometimes mean and funny crossover so black women get praised for being funny. Lookin deeper in it, it's probably the same percentage.

I agree with you op. Men doing fart jokes at age 2 and little girls get scolded for farting. bytch probably won't get a laugh for farts till high school. In high school I was perfecting the roast and you just got to farts
