I've been on the run before, like twice, two different states. I would say if you have minor charges, like low grade felonies or misdemeanors, just move to another state, and start over. I did that, you gotta skip a state, though. So you in Michigan, you can't just go to any adjacent state like Ohio or Indiana. Move at least two states away...

I did The Race on some light shyt in 2012 and thought I got off clean, then was notified in 2020, the state of North Carolina was contacted by the state of New York regarding the old shyt. Where I fukked up was I was on probation, because they weren't committing real resources to finding me...

When probation told me NY contacted them, the question was if they would extradite me to do that old time for absconding probation there. Which woulda been like 2 years...

In August 2021 I was sent a letter from New York probation and parole that they were officially closing my case, dismissing all charges...

But remember these were light charges, nothing crazy. So I was gone for 8 years before hearing from them, 9 years before they closed it...

If you're facing serious time or charges, position your money right and turn yourself in. I did this once, and didn't make it to the date I was gonna turn myself in, which was gonna be after 4th of July 2014. CMPD put the Marshals on me and NY State Police and the Marshals made a real show about capturing me...

When it's heavier time, if you know the state or city gonna devote real resources to looking for you, just turn yourself in. Not because it'll give you leniency (it won't). But if you got real shyt hanging, they not gonna stop searching for you, you can't live peacefully...
