I really miss the William F. Buckley days of Conservatives actually making some rational points about being a Republican that actually tempted you a little, even though further research shown it was likely bullshyt.

Republicans these days all seem like they were religiously home schooled or just stopped caring after 8th grade. The logic train has to keep being lifted and carried 40 miles to the next set of tracks. Just to run 5 more miles.

But they keep thinking they have something important to say.

You just would think that normal human beings cared about credibility. They care immensely about their appearance, perception, but nothing about looking stupid on a constant basis. It's extreme codependency and insecurity. It's like the Jesus freaks and the stupid just combine into this huge snowball that rolls right the fukk over anything resembling logic. fukking unreal.

There's been times I've been exposed as not being an intellectual heavyweight that knew everything, and those times hurt inside and are embarrassing outside. I feel them, but my answer is to keep improving, keep learning, fact check my shyt, and play more to my strengths so less guessing unless we're being casual. It was never, let me just get around a bunch of stupid people so we can make up whatever we liked about anything and anyone to amass power. That's not power.
