they were dumb to trade melton and allen, and not re-sign anderson thinking ziaire williams and jon fukking konchar (who both play like gleaguers) could replace their productivity along w/ some rookies who clearly weren't ready. not to mention that they should've traded brooks long ago. they lucked into kennard who for all his shooting, hasn't been great defensively. if they kept those first 3 guys (none of whom make much money considering kennard makes almost twice as they each do) and got some return for brooks/draft picks, they would've been far better off. could've run ja/allen/bane/JJJ/adams --> super athletic group w/ tons of playmaking/shooting and IQ to replace brooks' dumbass. then they could've had had jones/melton/anderson + trade pieces/clarke/tillman+aldama off the bench. that's a much better team than they have now.
