Yes they would know if they are monitoring your account but I doubt they'll hold it against you. However you want to make the best impression when asking for a higher limit. Perhaps say you'll be dsing from Amazon and Ali baba at the same time.
Also if you are getting product from over there make sure it's legit. Order the product yourself first and see if there are any faults with it. You don't want to sell a product to someone that doesn't work and receive a bad seller rating. That will have a negative impact on your sells
Yea I dont really need a higher limit right now. I just need to be able to access the funds as soon as a customer purchases an item, so I can use that money to buy the product from aliexpress

It takes a while for paypal to start releasing funds right away. They want to see that you are a consistent and legitimate seller. Sell some personal items around the house. This will not only help with speeding up the process of paypal seeing you are legit seller but it will also help boost your ebay ratings.

True that.
One more question, if your paypal is verified, do they still place 21 day holds?

Unfortunately there's no way to get around the 21 day hold other than to sell consistently. This is why I say you should sell items around the house or Amazon/Walmart initially to show them you are consistent. When you sale any item make sure it is shipped out right away and always add the tracking number so your customers can track their package. This will also helps speed up the paypal process.

What do you mean by payment holds?

Back in the day, customers paid you, the money cleared immediately and you could use the money to buy the product, then pocket the difference. This was back in 2005-2008ish. I kick myself everyday for not going harder. I was 18 then. I was making a few hundred a week. I could have made thousands easily now I think about how easy and wide open it was back then.

Now eBay puts a 21 day hold on funds when you're a new seller. So you're going to have build up a selling history before they let your funds clear.

Also....the chinese sellers cut into eBay a long time ago. Another reason I regret not going harder years ago. Trying to find a market they haven't cornered will be difficult. Possible but, difficult. Good luck breh.

Honestly....you're better off starting your own business/service/branded product.

With dropshipping, there's nothing stopping a competitor from selling the same shyt you're selling.

Come up with something you own. Then trademark/patent. Nobody can duplicate it.

The brand will be yours.
