Got in a car wreck in February, a drunk driver rear ended me and fukked up my ride

I got a lawyer and we sued the shyt out of his insurance company and for all the damages he caused inluding my car, my spine and costing me some days off work, my settlement is amounting to 16k at the moment.:kdotahh:

That's after hospital bills, therapy and my lawyer gets his cut

I've never had so much money at once and just sitting on it seems kind of pointless to me

Its not social security. Its separate. You can pay tax when you contribute money(roth) or pay tax when you withdraw money(traditional). The tax is based upon income
