I cant even front, I neva been the nikka to read musical inserts on who produced what on what album, I have always been about the cohesiveness of the final product. If the song is dope then fukk it, job well done. Everythang aint gone hit. Like, I neva was big on Jazze, the last southern proders I fukked wit heavy was Beats by the Pound. But now that I found out in this thread that homey produced "Sho'Nuff" and "Tired of Ballin", thiz nikka getz the lifetime pass from this Jersey nikka, straight up! If u woulda told me that he produced "U Can't Tell" from that album, I woulda named him the Gawd producer. I fukkS WIT TELA 1ST ALBUM HEAVY!!!!
the mid 2000s might be the darkest period of hip hop... track after track of
- formulaic mind-numbing music
- fashion styles that were hideous (tacky button ups, Burberry, oversized throwbacks, loud colors, tall T's)
- corny overused producers
somehow we made it out though
- all the video were basically synchronized dancing (some would be okay, IT WAS ALL)
