Somewhere in Chicago
Logan Square, Pilsen, Bronzeville, Rogers Park (a bit north), Wicker Park if you're into hipster shyt , Lakeview is mellow, Little Village for Mexican food, Hyde Park are dope hoods worth checking out imo.

If you go to Wriggleyville, some spots I hit up where G-Men by the Metro concert hall, and Redmonds, both are kinda tucked away and lowkey compared to other bars.

Rossi's is a dive bar, smack in the middle of downtown, cheap beer, the atmosphere has actual character unlike 99% of the other spots down there, through Henry's nearby is also decent.

Also, if you want a different view of the cityscape, hop on the Orange Line headed south, you'll be fine and the view is gorgeous.

Enjoy your stay, the food is phenomenal.
