I wish you could document why and when you moved.

Yeah, it’s a lot. I moved around a lot as a kid, due to parent drama. (4 different states)

I went to three different colleges, in different states, I’ve been a UX researcher in 3 different states (different than where I went to school, and moved with better opportunities).

I’ve lived in 4 different CT towns at various points in my life. I’ve lived in Houston 3 separate times.

I’d like to say there’s some rhyme or reason, but I kinda just go with the flow. If somebody on LinkedIn is like we’ll pay you 25% more and pay for your move, I typically take it.

I went to 3 different colleges based on scholarships and how good of schools they were.

Also, I like starting over. I like new places, new cultures, new people. Though, like I mentioned, the older I get the harder it is to start over.

I’ve lived in like 13 different places. The older you get, the harder it is to start over. It can be done though.

A plus for you too is that a new place can take you away from old habits. It’s easier to get clean when you don’t have friends who drink asking you to go out.

Another plus, anywhere you decide to move to will be cheaper than SF
