The reason Chael succeeded first time around was because he wasn't concerned.. He attacked relentlessly. He needs to remain with this gameplan and not give silva any distance. Another thing which may or may not affect the fight is Silva's age. 37yrs old. Chael about 34-35. Silva's had a long career and age may catch up to him. Plus Chael got TRT :leon:

Silva was hurt too, that played a big part, watch him destroy chael, chael is really not even that good, he can wrestle, but you gonna wrestle with a Black belt in BJJ? esp chael that fool is constantly getting triangled, chael is in for the beating of his life and he deserves it

Silva was hurt, but Chael is still a lot stronger than him. Anderson has problems against wrestlers that are a lot stronger than him. He's found ways to overcome. The only reason I don't think Chael will win is his weak ass ground and pound. He was pounding Anderson Silva's face in for 4 rounds and Silva was barely cut, if at all. Chael on the other hand looked like he had been in a traffic accident, while dominating the fight. I wouldn't be surprised if it ended in a doctor's stoppage this time around

chael has insanely weak GnP, and Silva has a chin

I would say Chael is a poor mans Hendo with no where near the punching power of Hendo's right and we saw what happened to Hendo In his prime against Spider

I think spider probably took chael for granted (plus like we both said was hurt) and probably under-estimated Chaels wrestling skills, either way that fool is getting dismantled and his ass handed to him, spider is usually a bit dis-engaged and not really into the fight, he wants to murder this guy, i havent bet on MMA in ages, and i imagine spider will be a heavy favorite so not worth th effort, but I am willing to bet spider destroys chael this fight

Chael has better takedowns than Hendo hands down...and cardio

Hendo has more dangerous standup (right hand in specific), regardless of Chaels last fight with Anderson (knocking him down a few times), as well as Chaels submission defense has been comical over his career

I really think this fight isnt going to look anything like the first fight. Chael will get him down a few times, but not every single round in the first minute, and then hold him down like he did

Anderson said he hurt his rib...i mean, Ive hurt my ribs before, that shyt hurts like hell...but I think if anything he just underestimated him. Not happening this time

Anderson KO Rd 3

Cats don't realize that Chael didn't do that much the first time. Despite taking Silva down a couple times, Silva still managed to inflict damage from his back. Anderson never seemed pressed throughout that whole fight despite the fact he would have lost minus the sub.

True, Chael never threatened with a finish other than a 5-round decision victory. But as much as I hate to admit it, he scored two 10-8 rounds. Don't ask me which rounds because I forgot. But I remember for sure Chael did minimal damage (stayed busy) while Silva could only hang on and defend for most of those two rounds. So yeah, don't get it twisted when its 10-8, it's not that kind of 10-8, lol. I don't think anyone else in MMA has done that.

I feel you. Chael had him absolutely smothered for 3 out of the 5 rounds. He showed excellent wrestling skills while doing that. That said, Anderson looked damn near comfortable while the announcers would lead you to believe those rabbit punches were genuinely doing damage. I've seen Silva knockout a guy from his back, albeit he was DQed for the maneuver. He doesn't panic in vulnerable situations. I want to say he can't afford to find himself in the same situation, but it's hard to say that when he won their previous bout in that exact situation. And some might say it was luck, but he was setting that triangle up the whole fight. Regardless, this might be this first UFC fight I pay for in a long ass time, breh. :ahh:

yo sonnen with the trt exception will have to have certain levels and ratios that were way too high last time they fought.. so yeah he will still be on something but not like last time..

and anderson didnt even want to fight maia.. he doesnt like fighting brazilians and he felt maia was undeserving of even getting the title fight especially since he just had fought leites to a boring decision..
