We NEVER have trouble or fights inside and it's certainly cause of my ultra strict door policy and dress code. I refuse to let in saggy/baggy jean wearers white or black (mostly minorities of course)

Most of my bouncers are very large, black men.

I've never had a prob with them (prob cuz I'm a girl) but when I go there w/ my guy friends we always get in, if some fool is wearing baggy jeans and inappropriate clothes to go out in, he'd get rejected there and anywhere else that has a dress code. Well it is NYC there's a million places to get drunk for cheap.

Bar 13 is a cool spot for drinks and dancing. 2 floors of music, rooftop (I know its cold but if you have smokers in your group then it's cool) and their prices are pretty decent too.

its a mixed group and we are celebrating a bday, so we need a scene to please everybody....white ppl....black dudes, etc

we wanna go ham and just have fun but we need a bar with a little dance area, nothing major like a hype ass club...

all these spots....i stopped travelling about 59th street for spots though..I don't feel the need to go further north of my job since I live going south..but best time to catch spots is after work happy hrs..fridays are good.

If you want cheap food and drinks, stay away from chain restaurants.

Hit up the little Thai restaurants. Spice, Apple Bar, Guam.

Little Mexican joints have piff food and strong ass drinks. Be prepared for loud ass salsa music tho.

I haaaaaaaaaaate that spot...great crowd but too damn expensive...last time i went about 2yrs ago ATM had like a $5 charge fee...club musta thought it was in Vegas or some shyt.

....i'm giving u mixed spots, BUT remember its in lower manhattan...so a chance the majority will be white but its cool vibes...won't feel uncomfortable, as long as you not showing up in hoodies and durags. You'll be fine, peeps just wanna drink and have fun at the end of the work week. Chiks be waaaaay more social during happy hr rather than club hrs.

All these places are expensive. When I go to other states, the cover charge for clubs is always $5-10. NYC is expensive just for the fukk of it.

Yea the places I gave you have a nice little mix. If you don't mind heading uptown, Hudson River Cafe is a nice spot in Harlem, more urban but still a nice mix, DJ is usually on point.
