Edit: Oh I see you don't have a degree. Sorry, I can't help you breh.

Wow...things have changed since the 90's.Con Edison RARELY hires. And if they do you most likely need a degree

Wow...things have changed since the 90's.
My stepdad got on there and was making 80k as a mechanic.
Came home loaded in dirt and oil every day but man...we had some money while he was there.
But that didn't last long...moms divorced him after 4 years.
I know for sure he doesn't have a degree.
Guess the disease of college degrees has infiltrated the most reliable of institutions.

Im not gonna lie i was kinda nervous cuz it was a two person interview so felt weird to me instead of having a 1 on 1 interview where you can kinda build a connection of some sort with the interviewer. Also a lot of the questions were S.T.A.R formatted. I didn’t have any problems providing stories to relate to a question they asked meBrehs our here really need to master the art of the interview.
Keep this in mind when you go for an in person interview, its a scoring system. Each question they asking you gets a certain amount of points.
For example “tell us about a time you had to deal with conflict in the workplace”. They gon score that out of 10. If you say “I’ve never had a conflict or I get along with everyone” you just scored 1 out of 10 and the interviewer is thinking
They want to hear a story breh. About how you dealt with the conflict and how it worked out in the end and you learned from the experience. This might be common knowledge for some but you would be surprised how many people go into a interview nervous as hell and score 1 or 2 on all they questions.
If you goin into an interview and you haven’t googled “top 50 questions asked in interviews” and don’t have an answer ready for each one you setting yourself up for failure![]()
You know all about it breh. Respect the STARIm not gonna lie i was kinda nervous cuz it was a two person interview so felt weird to me instead of having a 1 on 1 interview where you can kinda build a connection of some sort with the interviewer. Think I might just smoke a L before i go to interviews from now on. I don’t feel any anxiety when I’m high and i express my thoughts easily and clearly

my homie from way back who been working there 10 years got a copy of the interview questions. Imagine that breh. Knowin exactly what they will ask and having weeks to craft a perfect response
over 500 applicants and I walked out like
needless to say I got the job
buy a degree and fake it til u make it
