I think Scrappy and Shay have a genuine friendship, I know it's television, but you can tell they really enjoy being around each other which can make things tough when you're already in love with another woman, (erica).

I wouldn't be rude, I'd probably try to think of some fly shyt to say letting her know I'm flattered and I'd probably compliment her appearance, I wouldn't try to do anything more than that though.

So how did affect you to a greater extent?

I was socialized around white kids and fully immersed in western culture as a kid so I was one of the black kids who kind of resented being black because other black people would give me hell for "talking white" and being in gifted classes etc. it felt like I was exiled from other black people for being smart, but in hindsight I understand the dysfunction in our communities that leads us to behave this way.

I'm glad I was able to live from a c00n point of view because now I'm able to fully examine other c00ns in greater detail because I lived that life.
