I'm in Opelousas it's a couple different Proccesing plants you can get with and buy sacks of live crawfish and Hella spots selling boiled crawfish by the pound with sides and shyt. I thought crawfish were abundant everywhere in the state

Nah. I was just trying to see if I could get some sacks on the low. But I'm in N.O. I ain't making that drive.

If you not on the Gulf of Mexico don’t buy it unless it’s some etoufee. You want fresh crawdads and if their tail is straight don’t eat it because that means they were dead before they were caught and can give you food poisoning.

There's a place in Portland that's legendary but I've never been: Jake's Famous Crawfish | Seafood Restaurant in Portland, OR

I dunno how much you can really do with crawfish. You boil that shyt up and there you go, dip it in whatever you want. If there's anything deeper to it then I've yet to see it.

Crawfish etouffee is good.
