I live here and I coulda told you that Skyline is fukking trash. I moved here when I was 13 and I remember the first time I ate skyline I was expecting folks to bust out laughing talking bout it’s a prank the way they be talking bout it :scust:

There are some really really good restaurants in downtown, OTR, and NKY though. If you want some actual recommendations, I’d be more than happy to help. Just tell me what area your hotel is. My girl and I are foodies and we been around. If you’re just looking to crack jokes about nasty ass Cincy chili, do ya thang.
I'm at the Hyatt hotel in downtown about to walk to this red's game

As a Chicagoan , most other city food be trash to me so I’m not surprised.

Chicago have the best food and it’s hard to top it . Philly and New Orleans come close though

Moerlein Lager House is down there along the river where GABP is. Really dope spot, not too pricey at all. And I enjoy their beer a lot too, in case any of y’all are drinkers. Also there is a breakfast restaurant right around the block from your hotel called Maplewood Kitchen and Bar. It is fukking phenomenal. My second or third favorite breakfast spot in the city.

2-3 blocks away from you is a Chinese joint called Shanghai on Elm. I legit deadass thought I didn’t like Chinese food until I ordered some shyt there one day.
I’ve got some other places if y’all are around a couple days. Those just a few in the very immediate area of your hotel. If you’re willing to go north a few more blocks that’s where the the hot spots and some real fire restaurants are. If y’all got a specific taste for a type of food I can recommend a place most likely. The food Cincy is “known” for….trash. But there’s some great food and a dope emerging food scene

I actually had Shanghai on Elm last night. I got that Chicken Chili noodle soup. It was alright but maybe I ordered the wrong thing. I saw 4 and half on yelp.

I will try Maplewood tomorrow since it's in the hotel. My job provided us breakfast so that's what I was eating but I am out tomorrow night

you should've known better :francis:

Damn...yall see why I try to let everyone know what it is in ohio. You get sentenced to a trip there, prepare for:
  • terrible food
  • ugly women
  • the 'nice part of town' being nothing but dive bars
  • racist cops
  • speed traps
  • monkey pox
  • crystal meth
  • terrible sports teams
  • your car getting stolen
  • nothing positive whatsoever

Also @smitty22 in his lair with his cat lil Smitty jr

Born and raised in Chicago, the food is good, but it’s different in Nola, still good, I’ve been here for 5 years, but when people talk on Nola food i have to ask where you ate because if you tell me mothers or oceana I’m going to know you never ate good food in Nola

@MustafaSTL said he got family out there, and spent hella time there, so maybe he can bless the thread with spots
