I've tried cheese steaks from a lot of places and Pennstation is the best followed closely by Subby's.

Honestly the best Chain cheesesteak to me is Jersey Mikes but I prefer french fries with a hot sub and Jersey mikes does chips

I live here and I coulda told you that Skyline is fukking trash. I moved here when I was 13 and I remember the first time I ate skyline I was expecting folks to bust out laughing talking bout it’s a prank the way they be talking bout it

There are some really really good restaurants in downtown, OTR, and NKY though. If you want some actual recommendations, I’d be more than happy to help. Just tell me what area your hotel is. My girl and I are foodies and we been around. If you’re just looking to crack jokes about nasty ass Cincy chili, do ya thang.

Me and my girl took a road trip down there the other month. Even the spots down in the OTR was iffy. We were not happy, lol. Tried the shyt that was on the Food Newtwork too. That Taste of Belgium breakfast joint plus the Incline Public House.

I dont know if the pandemic been beating they ass or not but that shyt was all mid as hell. Even the Cincinnatian hotel was disappointing as shyt. Looked nothing like the pix. Mgr apologized to us and everything.

We had Sleepy Bee Cafe which was was cool though before we dipped out.

People really can’t expect a lot from smaller cities than u can from a place like LA, Frisco, NY, DMV, Miami, NYC, Toronto, Atlanta, Chicago, Texas..

You in places like Cleveland, Cincinnati, Pittsburgh , Milwaukee, Buffalo, etc those towns usually have that one or two things people want to see but the rest of the city is based off making quality food

All those spots are hit or miss, the one downtown by the riverfront has been consistently good but the OTR and the other 2 spots can be trash at times.

One of the few places I hit everytime I'm there.

That's exactly the one we hit too, the OTR one. Nothing either of us tried had any real taste to it. Their special Belgian waffle wings, the Belgian waffe sandwich, none of it.

And what's fukked up is all these Cincy places had 1-2 hours wait all day, everywhere we went, and it's like "why"?

Day #3 here. I ate some nasty ass Skyline Chili which looks like dog food, has the consistency of hormel chili and taste like it with added sweeteners. And they drown it cheese cuz they know that shyt nasty

Graeters ice cream was alright but nothing major

The hotel been serving nasty ass turkey sausage, sweet potato hash for breakfast. Snacks of mozzarella chunks covered in pesto. I haven't had a good meal since the airport in Boston.


I had high expectations for the food here. I figured the state that gave us so many fast food spots would come harder
