AC on at 73 while its hot af outside.

I like it. It’s cool.

Pros:

-Perfect weather in the Winter.
-Decent cost of living.
-Large cities with everything you need (Phoenix, Tucson etc.).
-You can be in LA, SD, Vegas, Albuquerque, and Rocky Point (Mexico) in a short drive.
-Beautiful scenery/landscape.
-They treat UTV’s like motorcycles, and you can drive them on the road if yours is street legal.
-You can drive your nice car or motorcycle year around.
-It rarely rains and is almost always sunny.
-If you like firearms, some of the best gun laws in the country.
-If you enjoy Marijuana, recreational use is legal.
-In regard to politics, it’s a “Purple” state.
-Ethnically diverse and there are Black People around.

Cons:

-The Summers are very hot (but it’s a dry heat).
-Can’t go outside and really do anything (exercise) in the summer because it’s too hot.
-We are supposedly in a water crisis (Colorado River) and may run out soon.
-Plants around the yard require much more water and care because the Sun and heat are that intense.
-Retired SnowBird cacs come down in flocks during the Winter and cause chaos.
-There is a homelessness problem.
-There is a bad opioid and meth problem.
-Homes used to be less expensive, but they aren’t anymore (due to many reasons, including California migration).

I like it here, breh. I’ve been all over the country, have lived in several states, and decided to settle my family here for a while. As far as overall, it’s the most chill state that I’ve lived in. I listed the Cons to consider, but I don’t really have any complaints being an Arizonan. It’s not my dream location, but it’s still dope.

Snowbirds are the fukking WORST. When I first moved out here it didn't bother me so much, but as of late, it's gotten pretty bad. Traffic all kinds of fukked up until it starts getting warm again in the midwest/east.

An AC is not feasible in the UK as we only have 1 or 2 80 plus f days in the summer.
It was just 60f daytime last week

Desert heat is different

Arizona and CALI have less humidity as say a Florida or Texas...Florida Texas Louisiana is on the level as Thailand regarding humidity...that sticky can't breathe heat.

I'd rather do 95F in CALI than 88 in Florida.

Your city will probably setup cooling centers in the future for things like thoa for elderly or vulnerable folks.

The sale of portable AC units will go up too. I advise you to spend the 300-400 on a portable ac unit.

Some tube lines (the modern ones) have it but the vast majority of trains do not
