Damn dude, you gotta go to Toronto at least!

If you don't drive you can take a bus, train, or ride share out there. If you book you bus ticket online in advance you can find some good deals on Megabus. I've found 1 way tickets for $18-$28 before.

Ride shares are a bit more chill and can be anywhere from $25-$50 one way (usually they're $30-$40). You can find them on Craigslist, kijiji or even Facebook (there's a Toronto-Montreal ride share page somewhere)

And if you're going all the way to Toronto I recommend going the extra hour or two to see Niagara Falls as well. It's fukkin cool and I'm not just sayin that cuz I grew up there.

Vancouver is also a cool city, different weather, different vibe, different scenery (mountains/ocean/beautiful trees & flowers :blessed:), fresh delicious sushi everywhere, etc.

Return airfare from Montreal is like $600-$700 though..almost better spending your money on a trip to Jamaica :pachaha:

I think the thread blew up & got featured when I was arguing with that idiot :skip:

But anyway, you'll just have to come back sometime :umad:
props on providing the information

They got smoked meat poutine now?:whoo:

Definitely hitting Schwartz this week.

I've driven from Pointe Claire to Schwartz spur of the moment many times because those sandwiches.:noah:
they pretty much got any type of poutine at this point. Had hamburger poutine the other day. literally a whole hamburger covered by poutine (yes it was disgusting).

seafood poutine, sicilian poutine (with tomato sauce and italian sausages instead of the regular sauce), had duck poutine with fois gras sauce a few months ago. poutine game is getting crazy. it's pretty much if you can imagine it, it probably exists at this point.

I wouldn't really consider the Eaton Centre to be a Montreal highlight

Can't fukkin stand that place. Malls suck.

:what:
The fukk is your problem?

What kind of shytty life do you live that bullying girls on the internet brings you pleasure?

Here, I have a song I think you will like. I picked it out special, just for you!

I even found the lyrics so you can sing along!

You're welcome :umad:

Toronto and Montreal are so different, I hate to compare them.

I used to live in Toronto. I moved to Montreal and haven't looked back. It's so fun here. :krs:It has this whole vibe that Toronto can't touch.

Both cities have awesome qualities though.

:russ:

:dead:

Damn, there were at least 4-5 different people from the Coli this weekend..so random!

We need an official Montreal thread, or maybe we can just use this one. That way anyone who comes to visit will know where to go when they get here. A customized Coli adventure in Montréal :win:

Ottawa is quiet, clean, pretty, safe, polite...a great place to live if you're an old person.

Got a few friends out there & it's fun to visit when they have cool shyt going on (House of Paint graffiti festival) but I could never live out there.

I'm too much of a party animal. :manny:
.

Ottawa is a good place for affairs lmao ask n e one whose signed on to Ashley Madison

I been travelling between Toronto & Montreal since about 2005

I don't drive so I got used to ride shares & Megabus

I remember one time I smoked a spliff, hopped on Megabus in TO, pulled out my laptop, put on some Trailer Park Boys, cracked a beer & passed out
:dead:

:pachaha:

Woke up and I still had some beer left, didn't even spill it :gladbron:

Then went back to drinkin beer & watchin TPB :russ:

Best Megabus ride ever :win:

Smoked a spliff at the stop in Kingston :myman:

I've had a lot of really fun ride shares too and even used to travel with my cat a lot :pachaha:I met so many cool people & became friends with & still stay in touch with a lot of them.

One time I met a girl who worked on the show Pingu!! :krs: I used to love that fukkin show when I was younger.

Stoner ride shares were by far the best though :myman::myman::myman:

:ohhh:
They should invent a hot air balloon travel system between TO & MTL..I wonder how long that would take? :jbhmm: Or does that shyt move slow?

I can't wait until flying cars & teleportation are a thing :blessed:

What's the biggest hip-hop venues club in mtl?

There's not many venues that are strictly hip hop but here is a random list of venues/clubs/bars that have hip hop shows/events or regular hip hop nights (there are probably more but I don't fukk with mainstream garbage)

Blizzarts
Blue Dog
Bleury Vinyl Bar (aka Vinyl)
Tokyo
Salon Officiel
SuWu (more of a bar/ restaurant lounge with DJ nights)
Apt. 200
O Patro Vys
Salon Daomé (sometimes)
Inspecteur Épingle (sometimes)
Sala Rossa* (sometimes)
Casa del Popolo (sometimes)
Datcha (sometimes)
Olympia*
Metropolis*
Club Soda*
Théatre Telus*
Le Belmont*
Foufounes Électriques*

*concert venues for live shows

...I know I'm missing some but I'm stoned and that's all I can think of off the top of my head

:ld:I don't fukk with West Island, I'm a city girl, and almost strictly a Plateau girl who fukks with Mile End & Rosemont sometimes. Blvd St-Laurent is my shyt :blessed:

I can walk to Schwartz's in 15min or bike there in 5 :blessed:

Live in the Plateau breh :to: :myman: :umad:

I used to work at a bong shop/art gallery across the street from there & one of the workers would randomly bring us smoked meat sandwiches, smoked meat poutine, pickles & cherry cola every now & again. That man is a hero to me, a fukkin angel from heaven, straight up! I can't believe how lucky I was :leon:

Like he would just show up & be like "You guys hungry?" And we'd be like :krs::krs::krs:

fukkin VIP Schwartz's treatment yo :to:

I remember the time Céline Dion stopped by there & bought everyone in the place smoked meat sandwiches and everyone was going nuts :dead:

Céline Dion owns half of Schwartz's or something like that

props on providing the information
:myman:Word, I got you!

Poutine grilled cheese sandwich @ Le Gros Luxe :ohlawd:

I hate the foie gras poutine cuz I can't stand the taste of duck for some reason :manny:
