I'm in my early 20s do I need friends?

I'm in college and people I meet in my classes that want to hang out and that usual social crap. I'm naturally observant so I notice all the details and small stuff people do so I never trust people and I'm usually on my should I try to change my personality since I'm usually known as an a$$hole and try to be more social in college or

...depends what you want outta life. I don't see how being observant = being an a$$hole. I'm observant, and i don't trust a soul cuz most people are lying through their teeth and i can tell, but i don't let them know that i know lol. I just play dumb all the time. If you're always blank people will assume you're stupid. And stupid=trustworthy in most peoples eyes. Then you can manipulate the shyt outta them.

Anyway it depends on what you want like i said. Having connects brings money, bytches, fun, jobs and can really improve your quality of life. You don't have to be everyones friend, but its good to have good connections into shyt that you're interested in. You can't get ahead riding solo 24/7.

But if you already have good connections outside of college or you just really want to focus then do you. Good to at least be polite tho.

I got people that would do my work and provide assistance if I needed it for assignments but I haven't met anyone I'd call a friend. The people I know consider me a friend and even a best friend but I wouldn't even consider them friends. Maybe, I'm anti-social?

People have a way of unconsciously burdening you with their bullshyt and emotional neediness . That shyt drains the fukk out of me so I keep my circle small (basically my best friend since 5th grade and cut buddies).

Associate and mingle to get expieirences and contacts, yes, but if your personality is anything like mine, you won't make having a big group friends a priority

It's like this, the beauty and real benefit to hanging out with ppl who are dumber than you or just different than you, is for the social aspect of meeting hotter and more interesting ppl thru association. Especially in college where it's a literal smorgasbord of young tenderoni's from all walks of life just waiting to explore all that adult life has to offer ...hell in-between all the partying you might even luck up and find wifey. I wish i had somebody tell me what i'm telling you when i was in college, so you better get yo ass out there and go to some parties and get you some friends before it's too late.

You're over-thinking it, and i can sympathize. I'm not saying go into looking for friends for life type shyt, but find you a few associates...try to get into some good parties with hot ppl and befriend those ppl. It's all about networking and you're in an advantageous position because most ppl who are partying with sexy ppl never realize how good they have it now until it's too late and they are in their late 30's and forced to "settle" because they spent all those years partying for the sake of fun and not for the come up on a smart, decent, attractive chick with much more value(ie earning potential) going forward.
