I'm in college and people I meet in my classes that want to hang out and that usual social crap. I'm naturally observant so I notice all the details and small stuff people do so I never trust people and I'm usually on my should I try to change my personality since I'm usually known as an a$$hole and try to be more social in college or

if you ever plan on being social college is the best place to do it.
but you shouldn't have to "need" friends. if you're perfectly happy by yourself than more power to you breh.

Needing something is a necessity, so I personally don't think you need friends. Wanting/having friends is more preferable but just don't change because of social acceptance.
