EXACTLY.

The western media narrative & whats actually happening on the ground within black countries is always two different things.

Its like a never-ending slander campaign.
There's ZERO terrorism in Dar. or TZ in general, It's one of the most peaceful societies on earth.

I was in Kisutu a few days, spent a night in Mbezi and then went to Zanzibar. I like Mikocheni though. Next time I go I’m spending all my time there or in Mbezi.
If you're planning to hit the beach I think you can swim for free at the Ramada in Oyster bay. You might have to buy a cheap drink though.

You can also check out Kigamboni on the other side of the ferry. Go past the Naval base and there's some nice beaches there, Take a Tuk Tuk it's a long walk.

I can also recommend Fun city water park.

Brehs asking for pics I got ya’ll once I’m back in the states at the end of the week. I should’ve got a SIM card at the airport because the internet on the international plan I’m paying for through my regular carrier is garbage.
Rookie mistake. You can get a SIM card I suggest Tigo, It's dirt cheap.

Nah, just Dar es salaam and then Jambiani and Stonetown in Zanzibar for this trip. I’d like to check out Arusha eventually in order to see Mt. Kilimanjaro. I haven’t really heard anything about Dodoma.
Uhh... I used to live in Arusha going to Mt. Kiliamanjaro is expense. Mt. Meru you can see from Arusha and is way easier and cheaper to climb. You might want to come during tourist season. The place kinda shuts down during the off season.

still dont understand why the first thought SOME fonts have here is to show pics of 'hoes', 'asses' and 'wait to ass ratio'.
sounds really desperate and shows you cant get ass in your own country if this is the focus when you travel

at least damnit pretend to learn about the culture.:snoop:
its really embarassing but anyway i think i should take solace in the fact that 90% of y'all wont ever leave your state :pachaha:

Yeah it's bad. I talked to a breh coming to Colombia he said that during his trips to the DR he ate Three square Meals a day he wasn't talking about food.

In regards to the political climate, honestly the media depiction almost frightened me into cancelling the trip. From actually being on the ground tho, I think it’s bullshyt propaganda. I just got back from a tour and asked the guide about it. I can’t explain it as eloquently as he did, but the gist of what he was saying is that the opposition is going to complain because by definition that’s their job. Yes like anywhere on this earth, there’s issues, but they’re overstated.

The only Swahili I know is mambo, poa, karibu and Asante and I’ve been fine.

All I’ve eaten is seafood since I’ve arrived and it’s been great. There’s a big all 10 miles outside of where I was staying in Dar, but I didn’t make it out there.

I’m gonna post the info on travel hacking later in the thread. Plan and make it happen, breh. Life is too short to not do what you want to do.
Did you go to Samaki Samaki? I prefer the one in Cocoa Beach to the one in the Mall.
