Lin ego was out of controlThe Jeremy Lin stans took over LakersGround at that time, every day they were making posts about why Kobe doesn't let Lin be the #1 option
People forget how strong that stanbase was.
but yeah Lin was acting a hoe the whole time he was here, trying to run the offense on his own. you could see Kobe getting frustrated as the season wore on especially when Lin didnt take that foul at the end of that 4th qtr
I also never saw those extended practice clips either where Lin called Kobe out, I had only saw the end when Kobe started shouting at Mitch
Dope to see they actually became cool and continued to text each other after Lin left.
Lin ego was out of control
That’s 100 percent true too. His fan base was crazy at the time.Yeah he definitely let all his fans get to his head. He was a role player with a legit superstar fanbase at that time. So I think he had trouble kinda balancing that, having a star fanbase/reputation but needing to approach the game like a role player.
From all accounts Kobe was a pretty miserable teammate his last few years
Facts. Bron would badmouth a teammate to an opponentOne of the WOAT teammates. Imagine if Bron pulled half the stuff he did.![]()
That’s not accurate and many of those players did not have good things to say about there experiences with Kobe (Randle, Nick Young, Dlo) I’m sure in hand sight they change out of respect but many videos and articles are out there that infact say he wasn’t very fun to be around his last few seasonsactually that's the complete opposite of what has been said by the likes of nick young, lou williams, julius randle, clarkson, dlo, etc. he became a mentor to them which is why they speak so highly of him. why do people like u feel so free to just spew inaccurate bs when there's videos and articles saying otherwise?
May he RIP, but Kobe was difficult to play withThe Jeremy Lin stans took over LakersGround at that time, every day they were making posts about why Kobe doesn't let Lin be the #1 option
