notice how guys who worked hard and had higher expectations said otherwise. why do you lames think you know more than actual NBA players. the dudes who were notorious failures of course had issues(kwame, smush, Lin)
Lin was a second round pick from Harvard, he was far from a failure :russ:

Lin ego was out of control

Lin’s ego?

Kobe was straight up embarrassing that man in public

I know Lin wasn’t that special. But shytting on Dude telling him “he didn’t know what the fukk he was doing” and ignoring him when he tried to talk strategy wasn’t the move

lol at Kobe snarling and shytting on dude during live play while simultaneously going up for the game winner.

And you know Lin was happy as hell when he bricked it..

"Kobe was being a meany :mjcry:" lookin ahh :mjlol:

What does that say about a player that they can't take someone harshly speaking about their game?
One of the WOAT teammates. Imagine if Bron pulled half the stuff he did. :mjlol:
One dude was up front, one would feel that same way but hide it and pretend to be friends..

You nikkas rather have someone talk to you sweet, over telling you how it really is :scust::

You can do the tough love shyt without all the extra imo. I know you wouldn't allow someone to constantly belittle publicly like that.

Everything happened on the court though?

If someone great is demanding greatness out of you, you either step up to the plate or you cower. Trevor Ariza or Julius Randle stepped up to the plate and they got along fine. From the outside looking in, players like Lin and Smush cowered when Kobe challenged them and Kobe probably kept poking at them because of it..

I still think its hoe shyt simply because of the power dynamic. Kobe was punching down. I don't mind hard coaching, from a coach. Moses Malone called Chuck a lazy f atass in private, then actively worked with him to get better. Criticizing is ok as long as a solution comes with it.

Where can the best player/leader on a team punch but down? :jbhmm:

Since Kobe was cool with players like Trevor Ariza and Josh Powell, the accolades point was him specifically clowning on Parker, not an attitude he carried around with everyone I see the real issue being that Kobe didn't respect Smush's approach to basketball and that's why he came at him that way. Same thing with Lin.

And btw,I liked Smush when he played for LA but he essentially came back the same player his 2nd season there so that explanation makes the most sense. All of this is from the outside looking in though so

So you mean to tell me that you don't think Moses EVER called Barkley fat ass or lazy in game after a missed assignment or defensive mistake? You'd have a point if Kobe went thru the media to move that way but it was always either on court or behind the scenes.. The only exception being Shaq I guess
