BP, you know good and well I'm not suggesting he have his entire future planned out but he's 17 and talking about he feels Black boys are rushed into adulthood. I believe Black boys should have an idea of what they want to do as a career by the time they reach high school and from there they should focus on moving towards that so by the time they get to college they can hit the ground running or if they decide against college in favor of a trade, they can immediately jump into that.
Too many of us don't know what we want to do after we've graduated high school and as a people, that's simply a luxury we don't have.
He still has time to decide though. It's not "too late." That is being a bit dramatic. No need to scare him. lol
