I had to learn in my outdoor ed./P.E. class in hs. It wasn't very difficult and it was kind of enjoyable. The hardest part for me was trying to attach the wire/string thing to the arch piece (idk the correct names). I didn't have enough muscle. I always asked someone else to do it for me. Also, the string irritated my fingers after pulling it back to shoot the arrow a couple of times in a row. I think that they have stuff to go over your fingers/hands to prevent that from happening.
