It's been out for a minute but it's picking up more steam since the video came out. But it needs a bigger push outside of being a club burner. I wonder if they said "fukk it, we got a hit" and put it out ASAP just to capitalize on whatever traction they could

yeah, i'm sure that's what they was thinkin'; they probably didn't even except it to stick like it is

like i said in a post above, i'm shock they find a way to put together a nice record (outside of FRENCH) in this climate without tryin' to sound like anythin' really current or trendy. i commend them for that shyt :salute:

that song is missing a few things. The beat and hook are both Started From The Bottomish. :francis: French does well on the hook, even tho it sounds like a Drake throwaway. Fat Joe made one huge mistake, tho. When the beat drops and he goes on that "I keep a few tings" shyt..he drags behind the beat and it kills the momentum for me. Overall it's a good jumpoff record but i need more.

Nah French kills the hook. Best part of the song and I love the song
Without French this song ain't a hit :what:

I don't know why OP always slander French, yeah he ain't as lyrical as Jadakiss so what?

French got songs for days... :dame:

y'all nikkas really fukk with french's music like that?!:rudy: that nikka is horrible. definition of a hype man/weed rapper

and for the record @ISOMELO it ain't bout bein' the most lyrical, i only mentioned jada in this case because i thought he'd be a good fit for the song

but naw, bruhs. i ain't buyin' this french montana bullshyt. nikka is horrible on the mic. i don't even feel like he a fukkin' rapper. he a clown :camby:

op is fukkin tripping french makes the song what it is

This place been going crazy with the French hate.

I wasn't even going to bother replying here until i saw at least someone has some sense. French is on the track because he's genuinely friends with Remy and Joe. Why would they have anyone else on this? Joe and Remy were beefing, and French was the first artist to collaborate with Remy the week she got out of prison.

To put it shortly, French played a notable role in bringing Joe and Remy together. That's why he on this, plus no other rapper from their crew and from NY poppin right now. Khaled from Miami. Papoose ain't a big deal. Nobody else from Terror Squad poppin. French manager Gaby Acevedo was the president of the label Terror Squad was signed to. There's so much behind the scenes shyt COLI CLOWNS have no clue about.

French gives it that little extra bite..he's essential to the song.

Maybe i'm buggin but the chorus is a drag, like there's a layer missin

it's the bit before the hook on both their verses that is weird and off.

i know Joe is great speaker selling things in conversation and makes everything he does sound huge but he seems to think they got plenty of big joints on the album that they can roll out for the rest of the year before and after the album comes out.

French & DJ Khaled are on my personal "I don't get it" list. But that's just me, 2 Chainz is on there also. Still, I can't deny that all of these guys have been successful. Replacing French with Jada wouldn't have made this song any bigger, when is the last time Jada got heavy radio spins? French is hands down a bigger artist than Jada right now.

People like French. He's out here with a major tape, lots of placements... it's a smart move. Plus he's not a party rapper.
