I don't have any real stories, there was always someone you heard about that got abducted though. And you'd see dudes with no kids just hanging out at the playgrounds every once in a while, looking back it was fukking creepy and clearly the reason they changed the laws up so that you had to have a kid yourself to be at a playground.

The late 80s and early 90s was like the wild west for Pedos, hard to track, just get yourself a ice cream truck and you're good to go.

You should have seen times square around that time period, it's crazy to me that it's now some tourist/family attraction.

What's funny though is I will say NYC is better for being safer, but it's losing a ton of it's culture.
