Too many hardcore fans of teams like the Canadiens, Bruins, Rangers, Maple Leafs, Red Wmgs, Blackhawks, etc. Too many white parents have their kids playing hockey in New England, Minnesota and such. They need to get the finances right but there will always be an NHL

They had revenues of 3.3 billion dollars last year , even with horrible tv deals

Bettman is a horrible commisionerr, keeping bum ass Phoenix affloat, and the third lockout under his watch. The owners are greedy but keep handing out absurd contracts, 20 year olds bring signed for like 5 year 40 million dollar deals, those rediculous like 15 year contracts as well


The NHL is a gate driven league so ditto casual fans.

3.3 Billion same as NASCAR. The NHL is unstable and showing its not viable in the US!
