Actually it's about them trying to marginalize the black vote. I live in NC my man. The republicans have ramped up the shady shyt since Mccrory got in office. I voted against him and have voted in most local elections in my city. I'm not saying to just not vote. I'm saying that I don't know if I'll vote in the presidential election and I'm not going to to do it just because my elders fought for th right to do it. I just don't have faith in any of these candidates and I don't think that my vote matters all that much in a presidential election.

And collectively if we had that attitude then maybe we'd get candidates to truly cater to us with tangibles to earn our vote instead of just taking if for granted banking on the "vote for the lesser of two evils" tradition. As of right now all we get are dems who know that all they have to do is patronize us by appealing to the blacks who are just happy to get some of their attention.
