I got an old ass Source issue somewhere around here with Xzibit. He said Suge threatened him after he started doing songs with Snoop, etc. and he basically told Suge "this is just some rap shyt".

Now....that does seem like some sucker shyt but from Xzibit's perspective:

1. Him and Snoop was just rapping together, they ain't best friends.

2. Snoop is a multi-millionaire, lives in a mansion with security and runs with goons. Xzibit is one deep, walking around L.A. So he said it's easy for Snoop to call him a sucker for avoiding beef with Suge, when he can hide behind all that extra shyt if things go bad. He said he has nothing to hide behind to protect himself or his family.

After the Snoop diss, Xzibit got cracked in the face by some esse's on that psudo crip shyt and got cracked in mouth by a 40, after Pimp'd Slapped the L's were one after another for my nikka X, it was feared he might not be able to talk and his rap career was over after that when nikkas get hit by 40's everday,.........then switching from a Stone Cold super Crip walking gangsta, to a cornball brother, shyt was comical thinking about it, sad it had to be my nikka x

This is mostly true. X's rep was already good in L.A. He was a rappin'-ass nicca whom skills were respected. Had 2 ill albums
and all that. Then he starts fuccin' with Dre an'em and starts crip walkin' and chit. Nah - that wasn't gon' fly forever. Somebody was
gonna see him. Plus he was gettin' too big with the Pimp My Ride ish and all that. The Ls came, and they came hard.

All that said - I was surprised to see X sitting at the table with Snoop and them at the West Coast Cypher last year for the BET awards.

X aint been the same since Man vs Machine

that album fukked me up. i would almost say i was an Xzibit stan after discovering At The Speed Of Life just by chance one day at the store when it came out. Restless was still dope but different but Man vs Machine was wack all the way through except maybe 3 songs. Weapons Of Mass Destruction was cool but the others are just crap. he should have stayed with Strong Arm Steady.
