It's only my opinion but if you can hold a conversation and make a chick laugh you could pretty much pick them up. Atleast in my experience.

Yeah. Looks aren't the end all be all.
Everything about everyone is balance and compensation.
You can be average in looks but talented and have a great aura and personality and people will find you more attractive than just your looks. It's depth/substance.

Just like a beautiful woman can attract someone's attention, then open her mouth and say something stupid or have an attitude & ppl think she's not attractive.
