Man there is a story called Berserk that has been ongoing for like 25 years of something with no end in sight. The author takes breaks to fukk around instead of finishing the story like every 3 weeks and he has been doing that for 20 years. nikkas still reading it. nikkas still waiting. I read like a third of it before I realized it would never be finished.
